Zechter Music Collaboration Scholarships at Orange County Music & Dance

What is Orange County Music & Dance (OCMD)?

It’s an extraordinary new community performing arts school (OCMusicDance.org) offering a wide range of musical instruction plus dance, musical theater and more.  There’s piano, violin, guitar, and wind/brass PLUS voice, percussion, cello, viola, theory, composition, and more.

When are the classes offered?

Year-round, whenever both your child and the instructor are available!  Group classes and private lessons are available. OCMD’s Registrar will work with you to find mutually convenient lesson times.

At what age can my child start?

Instruction in many instruments begins around age 6 or 7. Piano lessons are available to students as young as 4. OCMD also has 2 dance classes for students ages 4 and up.

Where is OCMD?

It’s conveniently located near the Irvine Business Complex, at 17620 Fitch Ave. (off MacArthur, between Red Hill and the 55 Freeway).

How much do classes cost? Are scholarships available?

Thanks to the generosity of the Zechter family, combined with matching support from OCMD’s scholarship fund, Federation scholarships are available to our Jewish community students as needed. Please ask the OCMD registrar for more details.
