OC Taglit-Birthright Israel Trips!

Summer is here, and what a better way to kick it off than a free trip to Israel? Sixty Orange County young adults ages 18 to 26 are doing just that, participating in the trip of a lifetime and experiencing all Israel has to offer in a jam-packed 10 days! Two Taglit-Birthright Israel trips, organized by Hillel of OC and JFFS NextGen OC, departed last week, with excited participants eager for the adventures awaiting them. Together, they are exploring their Jewish identity as they travel the country, visit key landmarks, learn our people's history, engage with peers, and soak up Israeli culture.

For more information on future trips contact Lisa@jffs.org (Hillel trip for students ages 18-26) or Adam@jffs.org ("OC Way" trip for young professionals and students ages 21-26). To check up on our young people currently in Israel, head over to their photo pages: Next Gen OC & Hillel OC.

If you or a loved one are entering an Orange County university or community college this fall, Hillel of OC wants to connect. With chapters at Chapman, UCI and CSUF, Hillel is a gateway to Jewish life and learning, offering a wide variety of religious, social, educational, cultural and community services, and leadership programs, to Jewish students of all backgrounds. Community college students are welcome to participate in campus programming as well. Grad and professional students also welcome. Please send contact information to Lisa@jffs.org.

Don't Miss Out! In 2014-2015, 20,000 copies of the Jewish OC: Community Directory were distributed, free of charge, to homes, congregations, communal centers, schools, nonprofits, businesses, and events year-round, across Orange County. Many more community members downloaded their free copies of the Directory via our website and took advantage of the free online search tool.

Once again, this comprehensive, community-wide resource will be distributed free of charge ahead of the High Holidays. Will your organization be included? Click here to reserve your listing or ad space!
