Orange County Educator Alliance

Strengthening classrooms. Building trust. Supporting educators.

The Orange County Educator Alliance is a Jewish Federation of Orange County Rose Project initiative that brings together K–12 educators and administrators to strengthen education and community trust across Orange County.

Through professional development, practical classroom tools, and immersive educational experiences, the Alliance supports educators in fostering respectful, inclusive school cultures and navigating complex topics, including antisemitism and Holocaust education, with confidence and care.

As California continues implementing SB 1277 and the recently enacted AB 715, the Alliance equips educators with historical knowledge, instructional strategies, and classroom-ready resources that support high-quality, standards-aligned instruction.

Why the Orange County Educator Alliance Matters

Today’s educators are navigating increasingly complex classroom environments shaped by social polarization, misinformation, and rising incidents of bias and hate. Teachers are often asked to address difficult historical and contemporary issues without sufficient time, training, or support.

California's continued commitment to Holocaust and antisemitism education, including SB 1277 and AB 715, has created new opportunities and expectations for schools. The Alliance helps educators translate these statewide priorities into meaningful classroom practice through expert-led learning, trusted resources, and practical instructional strategies.

The Orange County Educator Alliance exists to ensure educators are not navigating these challenges alone. Grounded in best practices, lived experience, and trusted community partnerships, the Alliance provides professional support, credible resources, and meaningful learning opportunities that help educators build trust with students, families, and school communities.
