Jewish Federation of Orange County honors the legacy of two women whose contributions in leadership and philanthropy set a foundation for a stronger community. Polly Sloan z"l held numerous positions within Women’s Philanthropy, including President, and was honored as Woman of the Year in 1994. Ida Kofsky z"l was an active board member of Jewish Federation and a founding member of Heritage Pointe where she was also a resident for eleven years. As Lions of Judah, their philanthropic efforts exemplified their values for strengthening our Jewish community, and their memories live on through the legacies they have established. We are forever grateful for their desire to make our Orange County Jewish community one which we can all be proud to call home.
