Jewish Federation’s Teen Engagement and Wellness Initiative awarded $240,000 of grant funding to six Jewish organizations in 2022. An equally strong component of the initiative is to spur a communal effort to elevate the careers of Jewish youth professionals. Through a series of professional development sessions, Jewish professionals working with tweens and teens will begin to build a community of practice. The first session will be held virtually on Monday, April 17 at noon with Dr. Jerry Weichman, Clinical Psychologist and Adolescent Specialist, and will explore teen mental health. Jewish youth professionals are welcome to register today.
