May is Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM) across the United States! First designated by the President of the United States in 2006 by Congressional resolution, and celebrated each May since, JAHM commemorates more than 350 years of Jewish contributions to American society. Locally, JAHM is being recognized through proclamations presented by the mayors and city councils of Irvine and Mission Viejo to Jewish Federation and Chabad of Mission Viejo.
