On Monday, September 30, 64 survivors were greeted by 16 Women’s Philanthropy Mitzvah Mavens for the annual Rosh Hashanah Café Europa lunch program. During the program, TVT Girl Scout Troop 1415 presented a donation of 70 hand-made lap blankets to the survivors, which will bring added warmth to their homes and remind them of this special day.
Programs like these are an essential part of JFedOC’s commitment to care. Every year, we raise essential funds to support Holocaust survivors who live in Orange County. Our support ensures financial assistance and in-home care. In 2023, 184 survivors received nearly 90,000 hours of care provided through our innovative partnership with Jewish Family Service of San Diego.
