The American Jewish Committee (AJC) is a global advocacy organization founded in 1906. Its mission is to promote the well-being of Jewish communities worldwide, defend human rights, combat antisemitism, and foster strong relationships between Jewish communities and other ethnic and religious groups. The AJC engages in diplomacy, policy advocacy, and educational efforts to support Israel, strengthen democratic values, and combat all forms of bigotry.
