This program will be an overall event about Yiddish. A speaker will discuss the history of Yiddish as a language and as part of a wonderful and rich culture which has played and continues to play a significant part in Jewish life. We will hear about the Jewish Book Center in Amherst, MA which has played a tremendous role in keeping Yiddish very much alive today and making sure it will have a vibrant future.
