Presents “How to recognize when loved ones are in mental health crisis and get them the help they need.”
After high school, Phil joined the Israeli Defense Force paratrooper unit, Tsanchanim and lived in Netanya, Israel. Phil holds a BA from UC Santa Cruz and was trained as a crisis counselor by the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Today, he works as NAMI-Orange County's County Outreach Coordinator, leading advocacy efforts for the de-stigmatization and early treatment of mental illness on college campuses.
