Bullets & Bagels and Evans Gun World are cohosting an event on Sunday, April 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. to raise money for urgently needed fire engines and state-of-the art rescue equipment.

Money raised will help Jewish National Fund-USA continue its efforts, which, beginning October 7, have involved more than 40 communities on the border with Gaza, 3,500 professionals and 2,000 volunteer firefighters. Today, traditional fires are still a concern, but missile impact-induced fires have also emerged as a significant factor.

The program includes an update on what is happening in Israel right now from a guest speaker and a chance to learn more about firearms and shooting at a time when more Jews than ever are thinking about self-defense. Dedicated shooters can sharpen their skills, and non-shooters are also welcome to support Israel, hear the guest speaker and enjoy the kosher meal.
