Young Philanthropists provides teens with an opportunity to make a difference in our community.
This unique program brings teens together to learn about needs in our community and making informed philanthropic decisions based on tikkun olam, the Jewish value of repairing the world. Through a series of three sessions, teens will visit various OC nonprofits, hear inspirational nonprofit speakers and learn the value of giving through group giving.
After visits to various agencies and lively discussions, the teens together make giving decisions and donate money to nonprofits of their choosing. Registration fees, $36 for each participant, will be donated to the nonprofits. All participants receive community service.
