In 2014 “Lady at Number 6: Music Saved My Life” won an Oscar for Best Documentary Short Subject. This 38-minute film is a portrait of Holocaust survivor, Alice Herz-Sommer, a classical pianist who played in the orchestra of the Potemkin-village concentration camp Theresienstadt. Merage JCC welcomes Oscar winning director and producer, Nicholas Reed, for a discussion and Q&A following the film.
