Thanks to a generous grant from the Albert and Rhoda Weissman Arts Endowment Fund, a joint program of Jewish Community Foundation Orange County and Jewish Federation, the Community Scholar Program (www.occsp.org) is bringing Jon Adam Ross, actor, educator and founder of the IN[heir]itance Project, and Chantal Pavageaux, an interdisciplinary artist working in performance and social practice, to O.C. as community artists in residence between February 21-28, 2020. The overall theme of the one week residency is "Sacred Text as a Stage for Community Building".

The In[HEIR]itance Project facilitates challenging civic conversations by making theater with communities and connecting those conversations to sacred texts. Our program on February 26th will focus on what our sacred Jewish texts have to teach us about "Tribalism and Immigration
