"Another Momentous Year for the Supreme Court" with Dean Erwin Chemerinsky
Dean Erwin Chemerinsky will summarize and analyze the Supreme Court's landmark cases in 2016, with a focus on affirmative action (Fisher v. University of Texas), reproductive freedom (Whole Women's Health Center v. Hellerstedt and Zubik v. Burwell), and immigration (United States v. Texas). Warning: some prognostication is very likely to occur at this event.
Dean Erwin Chemerinsky is the Founding Dean and Distinguished Professor of Law, and Raymond Pryke Professor of First Amendment Law, at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, with a joint appointment in Political Science. He will review this last year's Supreme Court actions and discuss upcoming decisions.
