Who We Are
2012 Mensch of the Year
Frank Ellis
For over 25 years, Frank Ellis has been an outstanding role model in our Jewish community and beyond. Frank's strategic planning acumen, coupled with his warm, inviting personality, creates an environment that brings people together to reach ever higher goals. Frank's dedication to Jewish Federation & Family Services began with its Young Leadership Division, which he ultimately served as President and in which he remains involved as an advisor. He is currently Co-Executive Vice Chair of the JFFS Board, and has served as its Chair of Community Philanthropy. As a founding member of the Solomon Society, he has been instrumental in reshaping the face of men's philanthropy in our community.
In his professional life, Frank serves as a Director at SingerLewak, leading the firm's business development efforts. Frank is on the executive board of the Association for Corporate Growth, and the boards of the Anti-Defamation League, and the Disability Awareness Foundation. He is a member of Financial Executives International, a supporter of AIPAC, and a member of University Synagogue.
Solomon Society is deeply honored to present the 2012 Mensch of the Year Award to Frank Ellis.
