The mission of Silver Streak is to keep seniors and people with disabilities healthy, independent and connected to things that give life meaning and purpose.

Silver Streak helps older adults, 60+, who cannot drive to maintain their connections to friends and family; be active and involved in the community; run important errands; and attend medical and social service appointments.  The program also serves individuals under age 60 who have temporary or permanent disabilities.

Silver Streak offers riders many options, depending upon where they live in Orange County.  Current options are:

• Group Trips:   You can arrange a group trip to any destination in Orange County as long as the people who are riding are seniors who have difficulty driving.  Learn more. 
• Volunteer Rides:  Volunteers provide personalized escort anywhere in Orange County.  Learn more.
• Shuttles:   Individuals, organizations and agencies can call to arrange a regularly scheduled shuttle service for seniors over 60 who no longer drive.  Learn more.
• Taxi-Gelt:   Senior-use discounted taxi vouchers for rides throughout Orange County.   Taxi vouchers can only be used with California Yellow Cab.   Learn more.
• Cancer Treatment Trips:  We offer rides for patients receiving treatment at Hoag Newport Beach Cancer Center.  Click the button above for a Hoag application.
