Music for a Summer Evening

Laguna Woods Region of JFFS presents Music for a Summer Evening, featuring vocalist Nick Palance. Hailed by critics as "The American Andrea Bocelli" and influenced by artists like Pavarotti, Sting, Sinatra and Elvis, Nick has the vocal ability to blend the intensity of opera with the mass appeal of pop music classics. Enjoy an evening with neighbors and learn about Jewish happenings in the village. Dessert to follow performance. $10 in advance / $15 at door. Reservations  

TrueNeighbors Village Helps with Tough Household Tasks

Sometimes chores to maintain a home can feel overwhelming. Now imagine you had trouble walking or carrying heavy loads. That’s why many older Irvine residents are glad to see helpers from the TrueNeighbors Village come their way.  Every few months, an energetic group rolls up their sleeves to help with some of the more tough home chores as part of a broad effort by TrueNeighbors Village to help older residents continue to live safe and vibrant lives. Want to help? JFFS’ Shalom Family is helping to coordinate Shalom Baby playgroups and fun meet-ups in your neighborhoods! A few have already started in Irvine and Aliso Viejo. Email us and tell us how old your children are, along with your zip code or neighborhood, and we will connect you with other families in your area. more
