2012 Israel Expo: Coming Together for Peace

Israel Expo’s theme, “Coming Together for Peace,” highlights the united support for Israel among the Jewish and non-Jewish communities in Orange County, and our collective prayer that peace will someday be achieved. Click here for a video in which Pastor Phil Hotsenpiller of Influence Church shares with Rabbi Richard Steinberg of Congregation Shir Ha-Ma’alot his heartfelt connection to Israel  and the Jewish people. Pastor Hotsenpiller will join Jewish and community leaders this Sunday at Israel Expo when we come together for peace.

Israel Expo: Celebrate With Us!

Sunday, May 20, 1:00-6:00pm, Samueli Jewish Campus 

Join us this coming Sunday, May 20th for Israel Expo 2012: Coming Together for Peace - a giant celebration of Israel's 64th birthday and Jerusalem Day with live entertainment, games and rides (yes, the camel is back!), delicious Israeli food, shopping, exhibits, movies, and much more.  Enjoy a 1948 Packard car show, a Segway experience, the children's parade and the Fishman Family All-Community Children's Choir.   Headlining the live entertainment are Israeli superstar Liel Kolet and fast-rising Christian rock band, {l.a.}godMusic, performing together in a Concert for Peace.  Admission is FREE and parking (from 1:00pm) is FREE.  Click here for more!

2012 Final Summer Deadline: May 21st

Passport to Jewish Life® grants are available for students from rising 4th graders through age 22, for congregation-based religious/ Hebrew school, the BJE TALIT Nation and TIES programs, Maccabi Games and ArtsFest, Panim el Panim and Israel experience/study programs.  Final application deadline for summer programs is Monday, May 21st at 5pm.  Click here for deadlines, guidelines and application form
