Family Philanthropy Venture Fund (FPVF) of Jewish Federation & Family Services, Orange County, is a group of families and philanthropists who invest together in high-impact, entrepreneurial and innovative philanthropic endeavors.

Who We Are

What We Do

Since its inception in 2006, Family Philanthropy has invested $550,000 in projects in our community and in Israel — projects that are important to our families and offer the best return on their investment. In addition, Family Philanthropy established an emergency relief fund to bridge the gap for members of our community who are in crisis.

Family Philanthropy has two primary objectives. The first is to seek out and support unmet needs and programs that strengthen and represent the Jewish community. Its goal is that each investment will “tip the scale” and make a significant difference, reaching deep into the roots of our community and changing the community’s landscape.

The second objective of Family Philanthropy is to provide our children — our “Junior Executives” — with hands-on experiences that build character; to teach them that every good deed makes a difference; and to live a life of giving back to others.
